The American companies are like a child prodigy wanting to win the Nobel Prize or AGI — where the Chinese companies are more like a study group.

If there's a three to twelve months difference - whatever AGI means - maybe Anthropic, maybe OpenAI gets there first, but others will be there in the next three to twelve months. There is no AGI event where one company squashes everyone else.
